Kevin Smith: Live From Behind on Feb. 2, 2012

Writer and Director of ‘Chasing Amy’ and ‘Red State’, Kevin Smith was born and raised in New Jersey. His first film “Clerks” was filmed in the convenience store where we worked at the time and he was only allowed to shoot at night. This movie won the highest award at the Sundance film festival and was brought to theaters by Miramax.
 He is now preparing for his upcoming One Night Event Kevin Smith:Live from Behind  featuring Jay and Silent Bob Get Old. The three-hour event will begin with Smith (Silent Bob) and frequent co-star Jason Mewes (Jay) hosting their highly rated podcast, "Jay and Silent Bob Get Old" followed by a Live Q&A session with audiences around the country using social media. Viewers will be able to submit their questions via Twitter, using the hashtag #livefrombehind and have them answered LIVE in real time by Smith and Mewes, who will be broadcasting from the Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto, Ontario on Thursday, February 2  at 9:30pm ET.

Thanks to digital cinema, this One-Night Event will be screened at the Digiplex Bloomfield 8 in Connecticut and at the Digiplex Rialto of Westfield in NJ. Tickets are $15 and for more information visit www.digiplexdest.com or call the theaters box office
