“What Makes You Different Makes You Dangerous”
Set in a dystopian world, this gripping
action-adventure film takes place in a society that is divided by the
government into five distinct factions based on how people live their lives. People are organized by their
innate skills and primary virtues: Amity (peaceful); Candor (honest); Dauntless
(brave); Abnegation (selfless) and Erudite (intelligent).
Shaillene Woodley plays 16-year-old Tris
Prior, who does not fit into any one of the five groups and is labeled
Divergent. Since Tris is different from
most people in the city and has strengths in more than one area, she is thought
to be dangerous to those in power.

Labeled Divergent and an enemy of the state, Tris is faced with making the
biggest decision in her life. She is
forced to undergo a terrifying drug-induced test of will and must deal with
major complications when she is forced to choose a faction.
Based on the popular book series by
Veronica Roth, Divergent stars Shailene Woodley with an eclectic
cast including Theo James, Miles Teller, Ben Lamb, Zoe Kravitz, Ashley Judd,
Tony Goldwyn and Kate Winslet.
