Loosely based on the Disney classic, Han’s Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen,” Frozen, is a magical tale about a spirited young princess who seeks to rescue her sister, overcoming her fears and inhibitions in the process.  Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, Frozen focuses on the relationship between two beautiful young sisters who are the daughters of the king and queen of the snowy Scandinavian kingdom of Arendelle.

Elsa, the older sister is no ordinary princess.  Born with a special gift that enables her to do things such as creating snow and ice from her bare hands, Elsa is unfortunately unable to control her inexplicable powers that often seem like a curse rather than a blessing.  The day of Elsa’s coronation to become queen, her special powers are accidentally revealed and her secret is exposed for all to see forcing her to flee into the wilderness.  Her sister Anna stops at nothing to find her ostracized sister and bring her home.

When this prophecy traps their kingdom in eternal winter, fearless optimist Anna teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (played by Jonathan Groff) and his lovable pet reindeer Sven to find her sister the Snow Queen and end her icy spell.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire at Digiplex Destinations

The sequel to the 2010 blockbuster “The Hunger Games,” The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set in a dystopian future where the wealthy ruling party forces children chosen by lottery to compete in a television competition resulting in death.  Teenage warrior and rebel Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence) has won the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark and finally returns home.

Triumphant that their clan will never be hungry again, Katniss and Peeta must turn around and once again leave their family and friends for a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts.  During the tour, Katniss realizes that a rebellion is simmering despite President Snow’s (played by Donald Sutherland) quest to hold the 75th Annual Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Elizabeth Banks.  The film was directed by Francis Lawrence and is based on the second book in the series by author Suzanne Collins.

THOR: The Dark World

Thor is forced to embark on his most dangerous and personal journey, where he is faced with the decision to sacrifice everything most important to save the world.  Battling to save the Earth and the Nine Realms, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) fights to restore order when the noble forces of Asgard are assaulted by the evil Dark Elves, best known for their devastating acts of destruction.

Thor’s treacherous brother, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) has been languishing in an underground prison after the events of Avengers Assemble. Thor has restored peace temporarily until the Dark Elves emerge to wreck havoc.  In order to save Asgard and the Nine Realms, Thor is forced to rebel against the most dangerous universe threatening evil that will stop at nothing and embark on his most perilous journey.

Thor stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman as Jane Forster, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Rene Russo.  The science fiction fantasy film was directed by Alan Taylor and is based on the comic book character Thor published by Marvel Comics.
