If we are going to survive we need a different kind of soldier, one that doesn’t think the way we think or fear the way we fear,” states Harrison Ford's character in Ender’s Game.  Ford plays Colonel Graff who trains the best young minds to save the planet following a devastating attack from a hostile alien race called the Formics.

Set 50 years in the near future, the Ender’s Game International Military Fleet builds a Battle School, a cross between a boarding school, boot camp and a prison for child prodigies.  The huge space station that orbits the planet trains children to prepare against the next attack and save the planet.

The film follows one special student, Ender who is enrolled in the Battle School.   Grouped into 'armies' battling against each other in constant competition, the kids endure physical and mental abuse.  A remarkable 12-year-old, Ender has a vast ability to anticipate his opponents every move. These skills along with his compassion and capacity for violence are what make Ender stand out as Colonel Graff’s favorite.
