It's Turbo Time at Digiplex!
“Turbo” is a high-velocity 3D action packed comedy about a lonesome garden snail that dreams of becoming a super charged racing legend. During a freak accident, his impossible dream comes true and he achieves super speed becoming the fastest snail in the world.
Ryan Reynolds plays Turbo, a lazy slowpoke garden snail who spends his days whimsically snacking on tomatoes while daydreaming of becoming a professional racer. Turbo’s nights are spent glued to the TV watching NASCAR, emulating his idol, Guy Gagne (played by Bill Hader).
Hader’s hilarious French Canadian accented Gagne, tells fans, “No dream is too big and no dreamer too small.” Turbo worships Gagne and lives by these words. He never gives up hope, despite his cynical snail brother’s constant reminders (played by Paul Giamatti).
When a freak accident occurs and Turbo is transformed into a super charged speed demon, his life changes in a flash. Tito, a plump taco truck driver, recruits him for the Indy 500 with in his pit crew played by Maya Rudolph, Snoop Dogg and a barking Samuel L. Jackson. Turbo races in the famed Indy 500 and the high-speed action ensues, it’s a real snail biter.
