"White House Down" at Digiplex Destinations Theaters

After his dreams of joining the Secret Service are denied, Capital Policeman Joe Cole decides to take his 11-year old daughter on a tour of The White House and finds himself in the middle of a massive terrorist attack. "White House Down" stars Channing Tatum as rejected Secret Service applicant and Jamie Foxx as President Sawyer in this action adventure film.

A terrorist group retaliating against President Sawyer’s decision to broker a peace deal in the Middle East lodges an attack on the U.S. Capital Building.  However, that appears to be a diversion revealing their ultimate target, The White House, which is rocked by a major explosion. 

Channing Tatum springs into action to defend The President and his daughter who are taken hostage by a heavily armed group of paramilitary invaders who seize The White House.

The suspense ensues as President Sawyer must  assemble and operate a rocket launcher to escape from The White House.  Director Roland Emmerich ("Independence Day")  treats audiences to impressive visual effects with an attack on Congress, an international crisis and family drama all wrapped into the intensity and eye-popping destruction in "White House Down."

"World War Z" at Digiplex Destinations






In a race against time in search of the origin of the virus that is defeating armies, collapsing governments and destroying civilization, Brad Pitt stars in the gripping action thriller, “World War Z.

Based on Max Brook’s book, “World War Z,” the film is an epic story of survival during a pandemic outbreak that kills victims and turns them into zombie killing machines.

The action thriller follows U.N. researcher Gerry Lane (Pitt) as he scours the world searching for the source of the disease.  The catalyst for the turmoil is a highly contagious virus that kills its victims and reanimates their bodies into rampaging zombies.

World War Z takes audiences from Philadelphia to South Korea and Jerusalem as Pitt races to save humanity from legions of infected victims multiplying around the world in a feeding frenzy.  

The riveting and imaginative epic won’t disappoint horror fans or die hard zombie buffs that watch Pitt’s character barely escape with his life in the battle to prevent a post-apocalyptic world.

"Man of Steel" at Digiplex Destinations Theaters


Faster than a speeding bullet, Superman Saves the Day

A young Clark Kent, Kal-El, learns of his powers and extraterrestrial origins in his quest to discover why he was sent to Earth from Krypton. British actor Henry Cavill stars as Clark Kent (Kal-El) in the epic science fiction drama Man of Steel.” 

Forced into action, Superman, Kal-El unleashes his superpowers in a climactic battle with General Zod (Michael Shannon) for the fate of the Earth.  This decision also forces him to chose between two worlds – the one that he came from, his planet Krypton, and Earth.

Man of Steel’s Clark/Kal-El, struggles with his identity and superpowers as he searches for acceptance.  This is the one thing that humanizes him, despite his colossal powers.  His moral character is attributed to the impact of his two fathers, a noble and stoic Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), who help him find his way in the world.

State of the art special effects compliment Superman’s extraordinary strength, speed and flying abilities, as well as the destruction imposed by General Zod.

Three-time Oscar nominee, Amy Adams, plays Lois Lane who joins Laurence Fishburne, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane in this star-studded cast. The film's large scale climactic battles proves Man of Steel’s Superman is not only an iconic character but also earth’s greatest protector.

Landing a coveted internship at one of the most sought after companies, they join the ranks of hyper brainy college grads at Google.  The brutally competitive workplace is disguised behind an idyllic campus with a rocket that hangs from the ceiling, unlimited delicious free food, volleyball games and bike rides for employees who need a brake during work - seems like a breeze....

 "The Internship's" Vaughn and Wilson try to fit in and strive to become “Nooglers,” those who have recently been hired at Google. Unfortunately, tech-savvy they are not, and competing against the cream-of-the-crop brilliant college grads  in mental hunger games is a challenge despite their abundant charm.
